Meet Dorothy – Where Clinical Expertise Meets Creative Soul 🎶

Dorothy is a board-certified music therapist whose journey began in the vibrant heart of New York City and now continues in the creative city of Nashville, TN. With a Master of Music in Music Therapy from New York University, she also completed her certification as a Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapist at the NYU clinic, where she worked with clients of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.

Her clinical experience includes supporting individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, and students within the school and hospital system—but what truly sets Dorothy apart is the way she bridges clinical care with artistic expression.

Whether she’s working alongside gospel choirs, collaborating with singer-songwriters and musical theater performers, or exploring sound with audio engineers and movements with dancers, Dorothy brings a deep love for the creative process into every session. A trained classical pianist, she has a soft spot for the expressive tones of electric guitar, bass guitar, and drums—and delights in discovering how each person’s musical voice can bring healing, joy, and connection.

Dorothy believes that music is more than therapy—it’s a gateway into transformation. And she’s here to help others walk through it, one note at a time.
